I have two questions for you: When was the last time you had a facial?

And have you tried our Dermaplaning facial?

We are offering a free Dermaplane with our Hydrafacial throughout May.

We often get asked “Will my hair grow back thicker?” So I thought I’d clear up some common misconceptions about Dermaplaning.

Is it painful?

Not at all, completely pain free and actually quite relaxing.

Will it cause me to have a breakout?

No! It will do the opposite, it will help to prevent breakouts by removing the top layer of dead skin, stopping those cells from getting trapped inside your pores it makes it easier for serums and acne treatments to penetrate into your pores to prevent or treat breakouts.

THE MAIN ONE, Will my peach fuzz grow back thicker and darker?

Let’s set the record straight here with a simple NO. It’s a myth that your facial hair will become either thicker or darker after dermaplaning. It just isn’t possible for your hair to do this, as dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliating treatment. The hair will grow back, but it won’t change colour or thickness.

Peach fuzz doesn’t grow back thicker after you remove it. New vellus hairs may seem to be coming in thicker than they were before, but they’re not. It just seems like the hairs are thicker after shaving or removing them because the top part of the new hair has to push through your skin’s surface as they grow back. It’s common to feel a little stubble as your hair starts growing back in after dermaplaning. This doesn’t mean that your hair is thicker or more coarse. It has to do with the way each hair was cut straight across. The hair feels different to you, but it’s the exact same texture and color as it was before dermaplaning. Once it’s fully grow back you will notice the hair was exactly the same thickness as before.

For that ultimate Glow

A manual exfoliation, of the face dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) are removed, leaving you with a brighter smoother more youthful appearance.
